  • chevron_rightDoes Bay Towne Villas have Community Rules?
    Yes, please read over our Bay Towne Villas resident community rules, in the Members section. This contains a great deal of helpful information to answer questions or use as reference.
  • chevron_rightCan we have pets?
    Yes.  Each owner is allowed to have two pets, preferably no larger than 65 lbs. each.  If you are new tenant, it is at your owner discretion.
  • chevron_rightDoes the community have regular lawn service?
    Yes.  Bay Towne Villas has regular lawn service that includes mowing and trimming common areas.  
     
    Also, our residents are encouraged to landscape the property around their homes to showcase our community.
     
     
  • chevron_rightHow do I get pool access?
    Our homeowners/renters are required to purchase a pool fob ($25.00) to enter the pool area and optional bathroom key ($25.00). A fob is also available to access to our Recreation building for an additional $25.00.
     
    Please complete a Request Form located under the Forms menu. Please complete the form in full. Make your check payable to: Bay Towne Villas POA. You may mail it or take the form and check to our management company listed on this website.
     
    Homeowners you must list your renter's name and phone number on your Request Form.  It may take 7-14 days to receive your fob or bathroom key. Our requests are contracted to our vendor to fulfill. 
  • chevron_rightWhat are homeowners responsible for?
    Bay Towne Villas is a PUD (Planned Unit Development) deed restricted homeowners association.  With this, the owners of each villa owns their individual unit and immediate front and rear property, including the roof.
     
    Some examples of homeowners responsibilities include: roof, landscaping (except for lawn mowing), trees and plants on your lot, air conditioner, plumbing, hot water heater, all interior repairs, windows. Homeowners are also responsible for securing homeowners insurance. Should you have questions, click Contact Us, on this website. 
     
    Note: The association is responsible for exterior painting projects of the whole community and keeping private streets in usable condition.
  • chevron_rightWhat are the parking arrangements for homeowners?
    Residents are allotted two spaces for two vehicles in front of their villas.  Please see Visitor Parking on FAQ page.
  • chevron_rightWhere can visitors park?
    Important: No cars can be parked in "no parking" zones, these are reserved for emergency vehicles. No exceptions.
    • Visitor parking at the Clubhouse/Pool area. See overnight parking below. (Please do not park in Sheriff spaces.)
    • Visitors may park behind an owner's car, as long as it doesn't obstruct any neighbors' driveway or street access. If cars cannot get around your visitor's car...they cannot park there. Your visitor can be asked to move their vehicle by any resident. 
    • Highly recommended - tell your visitors to park on Wesley St for ease.
     
    Overnight parking is permitted in the Clubhouse/Pool area lot. Residents must be pre-approved by the Property Management company at least 24 hours in advance of a request. Submit a request using the Parking Permit form in the FORMS menu of this website.

  • chevron_rightWhat is the monthly association fee?
    For 2025, homeowners voted in the monthly association fee of $155.43.  This includes lawn service and basic cable TV.
  • chevron_rightWhere do I send my maintenance fees?
    Please contact our property management company for all inquiries. For payments, owners receive a new coupon booklet prior to January of each new year.  Auto Pay is available, if you'd like to sign up for that service.

  • chevron_rightHow is large trash taken care of?
    PLEASE do not place large trash items near the dumpsters, e.g., mattresses, washers, dryers, furniture, etc.. 
    The City of Safety Harbor will pick up large items. To use this service, please call 727-724-1550 ext. 2002 early Monday before they schedule pick ups. Then, place your item at your curb on the evening before pick up.
